hi alla yinz, been awhile now since my last post. things change. and they did at that. so Em and I got married on the steps of the supreme court 6-21-14 I have rebuilt a 125 yr old house for her. still working on stuff but the major things are done. nothing left but the original frame and crap siding under the vinyl. lot of yard work to do. major biggies out of the way. now I putter in the garden. how bout that shit huh? so I'm back writing for a bit, or maybe, idk. Em and I just drove around lake Erie thru Canada of course. Via Toledo and Detroit. we hit the famous Tony Packo's and had a few Hungarian hotdogs. Its just what you'd expect. cafeteria style serving with a jolly bunch of helpful folks behind the counter.we had entered Canada at Windsor and got searched by the border patrol. they went thru all of our stuff, but didnt really mess up anything. they claimed the search was cuz we had not yet been thru on our passports. but I think its cuz Emilia looks a bit shady. Windsor, now with the casino. well it tried. since i saw the city last, methinks it boomed and busted with the same line of bs, that the casino would bring tons of business. to my memory Windsor was smaller. but my point here is not to be a travel log. along the Canada side of the lake i saw for most of the miles wind turbines. not hundreds but thousands. row after row, thru farmland and sparse residential.with more being built. I don't know how things operate in Canada, whether these are corporate owned, Government owned or subsidized. but Wow, whoever is doing it is doing it. the constant breeze around the lake is being used. why can't this be done in the states? the wind blows here too, ya know. but there's no profit in free electricity as Tesla found out. wtf someone built the water power stations round the falls. saw some solar, but not more than the states. the recent cleveland pride was a hot day with lotsa folks and lotsa business' shilling car insurance to home insulation and windows and the FBI. a twice thru was all i'd be happier with food venders only, the local entertainment and one big picnic. bring a frisbee dude. just gotta find a way of chucking the bible banging protesters. bye for now.
