whats up now

well it has been a while since my last post. so what have I been up to?
as you may know I did not return with the title I so desired.
however, this is actually a good thing. the whole IMsL was one hell of a ride! I learned so much and met such beautiful people, that what they said to begin with is true. That there are no losers in IMsL, there aren't.
not only did I have the experience of a lifetime, but by not gaining the International title I can focus on my aims here in Pittsburgh. to name a few: advocate for inclusion of Women, Trans and cis-gendered folks of Leather
as well as hetro couples. these people exist, just gotta find them and get them to socialize.

after the IMsL I took a small but much needed break. however still advocating.
I am still selling spankings at various functions and of course still talking up the leather community.
the Three Rivers Leather club had a sendoff party for Sir Dee and his quest for the International Mr. Leather competition.  I had posted the sendoff on the usual social network sites, and the response was good.
I am attempting to get the Leather and BDSM communities together. I am getting some spill over and that's great news to me. one girl saw my post and traveled from Johnstown, a couple hrs away. so I guess folks do read my stuff. I feel though this is what needs to be done to get the two groups together. it is going well and there is dialog happening and to me that is a successful beginning.
many folks still have no idea why I'm selling spankings, what an icebreaker to start a leather conversation!
" I see you everywhere and your always spankin someone, how cum?" well let me tell ya....

Pittsburgh Pride magazine came out couple weeks ahead of the actual event. Patti LaBelle on the front cover.
she will be performing. and back on page 96 a very nice article by Sue Kerr, all about me.

Just click the front cover to get inside.
good shout outs for the local club as well as building blocks for the Tribe in general.
Yes, I must make my appearances at  Pride in the Street, the club isn't in the parade this year due to the absorbent insurance cost that is required. ya each group that wants to march needs insurance. one would think that a blanket policy could handle the whole parade with maybe a small fee for group that wishes to be included.
I'd love to sell spanks at the parade but not sure how that would be taken by those in charge. 'ooo, you gotta have paid the venders fee.' so I may blow off that idea and just mingle. my words speak as loudly as my flogger anyway. and ya I'm sure I should wear my yoke, oops, my SASH.(see below for the 1st pic posted)
I am proud to own it, but damn is it the heaviest dern thing. at least I can wear comfy shoes.

I won't be able to get to the Philly Trans-health conference again this year, damn it.but will get to go soon to Boston. My partner, Emilia, has a meeting of lgbt population center  there and I'll spend my time tearing up the joint. ya right, probably gonna sight see. I love to eat my way thru Philly, but I can try Boston food, I'm sure. I can eat my way thru any town always something to my liking.
thanks for reading and say hello to me at Pride in the Street.
